These beautiful deer sculptures were created by local Washington state sculptor, Beth Cavener Stichter. These pieces are titled Obaryion and The White Hind, respectively.
My internet connection was not cooperating so I drew some gemstone spiders instead. I´ve been sort of obsessed with learning how to draw shiny surfaces and these were fun to make

Spray-on. “Living Nightmare Blood Spray - Theatrical Quality”
I may need to borrow that, if you would be so kind :D Dress hasn’t come in yet, though, so no rush.
I have fake blood!
Ooh! What kind?
I am going to be cosplaying as this:
at Dragon Con this year.
As you can see, I’m going to need to bloody myself up. Most recipes I’ve found for making fake blood involve corn syrup, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, Kool-Aid, etc… but as this convention takes place in the midst of summer in Georgia, there is no way in hell I’m going to be walking around covered in all the things insects love.
Does anyone know of a fake blood recipe that doesn’t involve ANY kind of food, or a brand of fake blood than can be purchased relatively cheap and will be able to get the pictured effect (and that is good for both clothing and skin, preferably)?
